How to: Select a line or lines or text.
Solution:
Move the cursor to the left of the first letter in the desired line. Press and hold down the left mouse button and drag the cursor to select the desired line(s).
1) Move the cursor to the left of the first letter in the desired line.
NOTE: That location is called the selection bar, or gutter .
2) Do one of the following:
a) To select a single line of text, press and hold down the left mouse button and drag the cursor right to select the desired line. (The entire line is highlighted.)
b) To select more than one line, press and hold down the left mouse button and drag the cursor down and to the end of the last line to include in the selection. (The desired number of lines are highlighted.)
